I am finally flowing with my fixed gear, however the other day a locknut broke? I don't how this was actually possible but it did, rendering a mile long hike while pushing instead of riding.
My wife and went on one of evening rides, and as always it was pleasant. I absolutely love how smooth
and quiet Moses is.

Today's Ride
Today's ride was a little uncomfortable, I adjusted my seat and that was a mistake. I saw one rabbit in the morning and my wife and son met me at the end of the trail one the way home. (That was nice)
Contest update: We have a winner the winning name is Moses
This is a great name for my bike, just as Moses in the Bible delivered the slaves out of Egypt, hopefully Moses the bike will deliver me out of my physical bondage of obesity.

Ride Report (Who cares?)
My ride was pleasant this morning, I ride on a rail trail that follows a creek, so I am sure you can hear it bubbling already.
I saw one rabbit and one jogger( didn't scare her this time:))
On the way home I realized I may just be the BIKE NINJA after all;
I just left work, and it is not uncommon to see road bikes in Johnstown even a couple of Serotta's
[Side note my Grandfather and almost everybody in Middle Grove used to work there at one time, I remember before they moved to Saratoga, they declined my application for employment for a sandblaster despite experience probably because I'm fat.] this guy all decked out in his lycra and tucked down on his aero-bars, went past the intersection, me just cruising at slightly above normal
cadence hears a small stone I hit turns around bolts across to the other side of the road while I blast past him! What gives? Roadies

No Riding Today

forgot me and ended up walking half way!

Today's Ride
First bike ride to work in over four years, it was much more relaxing then I remember, then again
with the addition of more family members to my household the amount of stress has increased and
perhaps I un-wind on the ride in and back. One definite bonus is with all the traffic leaving the
industrial park I work in I actually make it home sooner!
Ride report I scared a woman in her early forties out for a jog ( It reminded me of the Bike Ninja in Yehuda Moon ) I ride fixed so no noise. I also saw a rabbit.

A New Beginning(Well sort of)
I haven't even looked at this blog in forever. But something is stirring in me to write.
Update: My son Elijah is now two years old, my daughter Allie will be seventeen,
I still have no internet, my car Vinny the 1969 Valiant has developed a rod knock, and life
in the most part has been good. One of my biggest break-through's has been my new migraine management program(I have only had one headache not migraine in four months, from two
migraines a week) I alternate four cups of espresso with two Excedrin so one day coffee, the next day Excedrin.
One thing I am enjoying though is biking, for those who don't know I am well past 300lbs
so biking even a mile can be a chore, my new goal for myself is biking to work three times a week
and hopefully burn fat, not oil!
Daily I will be giving ride reports and taking pictures and posting them.
